The Brief
Finding a time that works for everyone usually ends in an endless group chat – or in a tool that sets trackers, throws up a cookie banner, and demands an account before you can even tick a box. For a scheduling poll, that's out of proportion.
My Approach
Built as an in-house product: propose times, share the link, done. Participants respond without an account, results update live, and the best slot is highlighted instantly. Built with Next.js and Convex as a realtime backend, in four languages (DE/FR/IT/EN), hosted in the EU – no trackers, no ads, no cookie banner, compliant with revFADP and GDPR.
The Outcome
A scheduling poll that's ready in seconds and treats privacy as the default rather than a selling point. Free to use, with a Pro tier for everything beyond that.
About the Project
wämmer is an in-house product by mediapuls – born from the everyday frustration that scheduling either dies in a group chat or requires an account with a service that learns more about the participants than it needs to.
A poll is created in seconds and shared as a link. Anyone responding just taps their row – no sign-up. The tally updates live, and the best slot always stays on top. Four languages, EU hosting, and a deliberately narrow feature set: one job, done properly.
