Privacy Policy
1. Controller
The controller for the processing of personal data on this website is mediapuls, Timo Haldi, Stanserstrasse 100, 6064 Kerns, Switzerland, hello@mediapuls.ch.
For any question about data protection or to exercise your rights, an email to that address is enough.
2. Principles
Only data required to operate the website and to answer enquiries is processed. Data is not sold and not passed on for purposes other than those stated here.
The Swiss Data Protection Act (FADP) applies. For visitors from the EEA, the GDPR applies in addition. Depending on the case, processing is based on your consent, on the performance of a contract, or on the legitimate interest in operating the website securely.
3. Hosting and Server Logs
This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. When a page is requested, technically necessary data is transmitted and logged: IP address, date and time, page requested, referring website, browser type and operating system.
These logs serve secure operation, troubleshooting and the prevention of attacks. They are not combined with other data and not evaluated in relation to individual persons.
4. Contact Form and Email
Details submitted through the contact form (name, email address, optionally phone and company, the type of enquiry and your message) are delivered to mediapuls by email via the mail server of Hostpoint AG, Switzerland.
This data is used solely to handle your enquiry and any follow-up correspondence. It is retained only as long as necessary for that purpose or as required by law.
5. Cookies and Consent
On your first visit a notice appears where you can accept or decline analytics services. Your choice is stored locally in your browser (localStorage) so the notice does not reappear. This storage is technically necessary and contains no personal data.
If you decline, no cookies from the Google services named in clause 6 are set. The website works fully without them. You can change your decision at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.
6. Audience Measurement
Without consent: Vercel Analytics records aggregated page view counts. The service sets no cookies, does not store IP addresses permanently and does not build profiles of individual persons.
Only with your consent: Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited). These services set cookies and record usage data such as pages visited, time on site and approximate location in order to improve the website. The IP address is truncated in the process.
Further information on Google's data processing is available at policies.google.com/privacy.
7. Fonts and Embedded Content
The fonts used on mediapuls.ch are served from our own server. No external font provider is called.
On the product pages at countr.mediapuls.ch and padelly.mediapuls.ch a font is loaded via Fontshare (Indian Type Foundry). Your IP address is transmitted to that provider in the process.
Links to external websites and social networks are plain links. No content from those providers is embedded, and simply visiting this website transmits no data to them.
8. Disclosure to Third Parties and Transfers Abroad
Personal data is disclosed only to service providers required to operate the website: Vercel (hosting), Hostpoint (email) and, where consent has been given, Google (analytics).
As a result, data may reach countries outside Switzerland and the EEA, in particular the United States. Such disclosure is based on recognised safeguards such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
9. Data Security and Retention
The website is delivered exclusively over encrypted HTTPS. Appropriate technical and organisational measures are taken to protect data against loss and unauthorised access. Complete protection during transmission over the internet is not possible.
Data is deleted once its purpose no longer applies and no statutory retention periods stand in the way.
10. Your Rights and Changes
You have the right to information about the data processed about you, and to its correction, deletion and the restriction of its processing. Within the scope of the GDPR, the right to data portability and the right to object apply in addition. Consent given can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future.
To exercise these rights, an email to hello@mediapuls.ch is enough. You may also contact the competent supervisory authority, in Switzerland the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
This privacy policy may be adapted if the website or the services used change. The version published on this page at the time applies.
